I love weddings that take place at the family home, they have a more relaxed feel to them, more intimate and personal than a traditional one or 2 venue wedding. This is the 3rd time I had been lucky enough to film a wedding involving these 2 families and it was so nice to see familiar faces and catch up.
Another familiar face was the photographer Lisa Aldersley who as always was a pleasure to work alongside, I remember being all star struck the first time I worked with Lisa as she is one of the leading wedding photographers in the UK and we always have a giggle about it when we work together.
Simmone worked alongside weddings planners extraordinaire Fabulous Together to create this amazing wedding, I have to say I was hugely impressed with Andrea & Debbie and the efficient way they went about their business. Every aspect of the day was handled expertly despite the weather doing its very best to upset things.
The wedding itself was everything I hoped it would be, I had very high expectations after filming Rachel (Simmones Sister’s) Marquee Wedding in Bath the previous year and it did not disappoint, fabulous speeches from everyone which gave me so much to work with, laughter & tears, this wedding had it all.
